Confidence in Maths Y6 Masterclass
Are you searching for a way to boost your child's maths skills and confidence in year 6?
This small-group online course is led by an experienced year 6 teacher and offers a unique opportunity to help your child to master the year 6 curriculum, all from the convenience and comfort of home. Each week your child will be guided through engaging and interactive online lessons, providing the tools and strategies needed to conquer a range of year 6 maths problems that they may face.
Our Masterclass covers all essential maths topics in year 6 and is aligned with the curriculum in UK schools. Over the course of the academic year, we will cover: arithmetic, number & place value, fractions, decimals & percentages, shape, measure, data handling, ratio and algebra.
What is included?
Small-group weekly sessions (term-time)
Interactive sessions including games, peer discussion, modelling of written methods, practice time, opportunity to ask questions and unpicking previous/ example SATs problems.
Coverage of core Y6 Maths curriculum
Covers all the key aspects of the Y6 Maths curriculum (over the course of the year) including: arithmetic, number & place value, fractions, decimals & percentages, shape, measure, data handling, ratio and algebra.
Strategies to increase confidence around maths
Focus on boosting confidence and key skills through a growth mindset approach - the belief that everyone can change and grow through application and experience.
Further practice through optional homework
Optional homework provided weekly to allow children to consolidate learning.
All for just £20 per session, bookable in half-termly blocks (£120 or payment plan of 3 x £40 available).
